Welcome to the Centennial Rose Garden, a project constructed and maintained by the Olympia Rose Society in cooperation with the Olympia Tumwater Foundation. This garden was developed in conjunction with the Centennial Celebration of the State of Washington and was dedicated on June 23, 1989. The garden is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM free of charge.

It contains a collection of both modern and antique roses. We have attempted to document each variety of rose as accurately as possible and have provided a brief historical sketch of each of the antique roses - many of which have been in cultivation for hundreds of years.

Enjoy your visit!
